Ang gusto ni Pangulong Duterte ay pantay-pantay ang trato ng gobyerno sa bawat isang tao. Ang ayaw nya ay yung nangaapi at inaapi because of their gender, religious belief or status in life.
Pero he does not wish to redefine what a male and female is as defined by God, norms and what our laws have already established. Kapag daw naisabatas na ito - it will protect the LGBTQ+ community but it will discriminate the majority of the Filipinos who do not belong to the same community.
