In wall washing the
standard is to return the wall surface to a uniform appearance, free of dirt or
streaks of grime. The materials are a detergent dissolved in water, usually warm,
and a brush or cloth. The detergent solution is applied to the wall, which is
then scrubbed with either the brush or the cloth, with extra effort applied in
areas of more dirt. The wall is then usually rinsed with clear water, and
allowed to dry.

Ways
to Clean a Wall
If you are required to
clean walls for a full clean or an infectious clean then you will need to use
the Wally wall washing covers. Wally covers are a cross between a microfiber
cloth and a microfiber mop. They are designed to allow you to clean wall
surfaces at the same fast rate that we can now clean floors.
The pleated cloth
surface scrubs and cleans while the microfiber cloth inside absorbs solution
keeping the surface microfiber working longer. Wally covers come in five
different colors and can be used to clean general ward areas: bathrooms,
kitchens, infectious rooms and even theater areas.
They can attach either
onto a holder on an extension pole for large areas or onto a handheld holder
for smaller reachable surfaces. Place your Wally covers in an eight leader
rectangular bucket and add the correct amount of cleaning solution to each
pattern you will need a clean pad for every room you are cleaning and some rooms
may require more than one.
If you are cleaning
ceilings as well place the pre-moistened ready to use cover onto the holder and
extend the handle to the correct height. The design of the Wally system
eliminates bending and stretching normally associated with scrubbing and drying
walls keep your back in an upright position so you can reach both high and low
areas of the room.
Change the pad where
necessary. If a chlorinated cleaner is used or needs to be applied to the
surface then you will need to use the bleach resistant Wally covers. And always
clean the lower areas first to avoid chemical runs placed used covers in the
bag on your trolley for later laundering as Wally microfiber covers are made
out of the same material as technically no oaths. They not only loosen dirt and
germs from your wall surfaces but they remove them in the drying process.
What is Wall Cleaning or Wall Washing?
To make us understand - first let us become
familiar with the word wall as well as the word washing. Wall is any of various
permanent upright constructions having a length much greater than the thickness
and presenting a continuous surface except where pierced by doors, windows,
etc.: used for shelter, protection, or privacy, or to subdivide interior space,
to support floors, roofs, or the like, to retain earth, to fence in an area,
etc.
Washing is the act of
making a wash. To apply water or some other liquid to (something or someone)
for the purpose of cleansing; cleanse by dipping, rubbing, or scrubbing in
water or some other liquid. To remove (dirt, stains, paint, or any matter) by
or as by the action of water (usually followed by out, off, etc.): to wash
grime out of clothing. To bathe, wet, or moisten with water or other liquid.
Purpose
of Walls
Building walls purposes
are to support roofs, floors and ceilings, enclose a space as part of the
building envelope, along with a roof to give buildings form, and to provide
shelter and security. In addition, the wall may house various types of
utilities such as electrical wiring or plumbing. Wall construction falls into
two basic categories: framed walls or mass-walls.
In framed walls the load is transferred
to the foundation through posts, columns or studs. Framed walls most often have
three or more separate components: the structural elements (such as 2×4 studs
in a house wall), insulation, and finish elements or surfaces (such as drywall
or panelling). Mass-walls are of a solid material including masonry, concrete
including slip form stonemasonry, log building, cordwood construction, adobe,
rammed earth, cob, earth bag construction, bottles, tin cans, straw-bale
construction, and ice.
Conclusion
Wall cleaning or
washing has become a career for many people nowadays. Cleaning or washing walls
occurs in various commercial, industrial, environmental, and domestic contexts,
which differ in scale and requirements. Several occupations involve cleaning,
either in their entirety or among other duties such as: Cleaner, Housekeeper
(domestic worker), Janitor and Maid.
