Kadamay Invaded Rodriguez, Rizal to Occupy The Vacant Housing Units Allocated for Members of The Military and Police Force

Early 6 a.m. June 13, 2018 - 200 members of Kadamay Invaded Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal

As reported by TV News, GMA7 this morning June 14, 2018 - there were about 200 members of the informal settlers and urban poor group known as Kadamay invaded Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal to occupy the vacant housing units allocated for members of the military and police force. The incident happened on June 13, 2018 as early as 6 a.m., unfortunately their goals did not materialize.

Homeowners explained they were among the early beneficiary occupants of some 700 socialized housing units, while other rightful owners are expected to settle in as soon as document and proper turnover procedures are completed.

They further explained that housing unit awardees must comply with the process on documentary requirements and payment terms and cannot just barge into the vacant unit and claim them na kanila - hindi tulad ng mga ginagawa ng Kadamay group basta na lang aagawin at aangkinin ang nasabing mga housing units sa kapal ng mukha at sikmura.

As reported noon there were thousands of members of the progressive group Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (Kadamay) and other informal settlers invaded and occupied the housing projects of the National Housing Authority (NHA) in Pandi, Bulacan.
